I’m a mixed-media painter that mainly works in cold wax and encaustic. I create art influenced by my childhood explorations of the Rocky Mountains and my time spent living in California. My style varies - ranging from free form abstracts to straight lined geometric themed pieces. I start my paintings with colors and images found in nature and let the organic shapes emerge by themselves. My paintings evolve through applying layers of paint, and other mediums such as ink, charcoal, and pastel. The final piece always surprises me - as I let my intuition guide me through the process.

When not in my studio, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my husband and sweet rescue border collie.

Browse my artwork, and hopefully you will feel the joy I have put into each piece.
